First, visit our 'Locations' tab and select the city that you prefer. Once you are on the correct event page, click the pink ‘Sign Up Now’ icon. You will then be prompted to select your registration as an individual, team, youth (12 years and younger) or military.
The first person who registers a team will be the designated team captain, and will have authority to view and manage team registrations. When starting a team, please be sure to select "Create a Team" from the drop-down menu when prompted.
What's the difference between team and individual registration?
Team registration provides a discount for registering with a group of four or more. Team members are not required to sign up all at one time. Further discounts may be available for corporate teams, or groups of 20 or more who want to register together. Please inquire with firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about large group rates.
Are there a limited number of runners allowed at the Glow Run 5K?
Yes, each race is limited based on the course and venue size. The Glow Run 5k fills quickly and many events sell out. We recommend that you sign up early to take advantage of low-cost registration and secure your entry.
How will I Know how many entries are left for a particular city?
The best way to stay up to date on The Glow Run 5k is to like our Facebook page. We are always updating the page with information about remaining registration slots and other valuable information.
What is included with my registration?
Participants receive a custom Glow Run 5k t-shirt, package of glow gear and race bib. All finishers also receive a glow-in-the-dark finisher's medal.
If I can't participate, can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Registrations may be transferred to another person by logging into TicketSocket. By logging into TicketSocket, registrations can be transferred and edited. Teams can be managed through this account as well.
Is there an age limit to register for the Glow Run 5K?
There is no age limit. Younger runners are welcome and encouraged to participate. If the participant is younger than 18 years of age, we ask that a parent or guardian sign their waiver.
I'm having troubles using my Groupon for registration, what should I do?
The Glow Run 5k does not promote its events through any third party promotion sites such as Groupon, LivingSocial or RetailMeNot. Themed 5k events have risen in popularity, and many races operate under similar names. These offers do not pertain to The Glow Run 5k.
Are there any promotional codes available?
When registration opens, discount codes are occasionally provided on our Facebook page. Please like our Facebook page to keep updated on the latest details and available discounts.

The Glow Run 5k is not timed, but instead provides a fun, family-friendly experience for participants of all ages and athletic abilities.
Are walkers welcome at the Glow Run 5K?
We gladly welcome walkers to The Glow Run 5k. As a courtesy, we ask that walkers remain toward the end of the starting line.
May I bring a stroller to the event?
We are proud to host a family-friendly event, and welcome strollers. We ask that participants bringing strollers remain toward the end of the starting line as a courtesy to other runners
Are dogs allowed at the Glow Run 5K?
No dogs are allowed at The Glow Run 5k. The Glow Run 5k makes exceptions for service animals; we ask that participants bringing a service animal please notify the event staff in advance.
Can friends and family attend the after party even if they did not participate in the race?
Yes, friends and family are welcome to join you at the after-party.
Is the beer at the beer garden free for participants?
Alcoholic beverages are available through the beer garden for purchase by any participant over the age of 21. Guests wishing to visit the beer garden will be required to present a valid ID. Please note that beer gardens may not always be available, and are operated at the discretion of the host city and/or venue. Please see the locations page for your preferred event for additional information on beer garden availability.
When and where do I pick up my packet?
Times and locations vary upon the event location. These details are posted on each city page under race information. Packet pickup information will be released to registrants the week of the event via email.
What do I need to bring with me to pickup my packet?
Please bring your confirmation e-mail and/or your registration receipt as proof of payment. Receipts may be printed, or pulled up on a smartphone. These items were mailed to you shortly following your registration. In case of lost or deleted confirmation e-mails, please contact the Glow Run 5k office to request a new copy. If you cannot find your receipt or confirmation before packet pick-up, a volunteer will be able to look up your registration on site.
Can someone else pick up my race packet for me?
Yes, someone else may request your packet. This person will need to present your confirmation email in order to receive your items.
