It is with a heavy heart that the team at Glow Run 5K must reschedule our event for the Omaha run in August. Due to unforseen circumstances with the permit we were forced to reschedule the event to a later date. We would like to formally apologize for the late notice on this. It came to our attention over the weekend that the event must be pushed back. This is the reason why our emails and notifications about the run came about so suddenly.
As many of you may know, our run does not offer refunds under the event of cancellation or weather. However, due to the event schedule change and the late notice we gave to our runners, we have decided to offer refunds to the members of Omaha who cannot make it to the event in October, or were troubled by the incovnienence of the change. We appreciate the patience from all our participants on this issue.
It may take some time for the refunds to process. The Glow Run 5K event coordinator is working hard on talking with our friends at Active and getting those refunds back out to the runners who asked. Refunds for the event may take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks - depending on how many we must reimburs.
The Glow Run 5K would like to apologize again for the inconvenience this has caused. We would also like to thank the runners for being understanding about the change. It is very exciting to have such loyal support and extremely positive participants! We can't thank you all enough for helping us make the Glow Run experience great!
